Yuri gets the award for Member of the Moment this time, because she has been here for such a long time, and still remains active, and extremely creative. She never says anything bad about someone, or their characters, and her deep respect for everyone is what makes her so great! Her characters are always unique and fresh, and she's never afriad to play them with less advanced role players. With all of her dramatic plots and crazy ideas, she is a great asset to this site. A great mentor for new players, Yuri is without a doubt, spectacular.
Pink, better know as Pinkers, or Pinkalicious- is a cutie pie French Trotter stallion, with a solid black body. You know, except for the hot pink eyes he has, and the man-made hot pink spiral running down his back left leg. He was known as a freak before coming to Flaming Passions, where he found a friend in a strange mare, named Holocaust. They became friends, and Holocaust showed him the Royal Healing Heavens, where they met the king, Zagan. Pink was allowed to live there, with Holocaust, and he soon realised he might like her more than just a friend. But when Holocaust met head-on with the Infection, and nearly died, he had to save her life. And because she was so grateful, ( and turned on ), they ended up having twin fillies. Now that Holocaust is gone- what will come of Pink? You'll have to wait to find out.

Time and Nuk, being an extremely adorable couple- win the Couple of the Moment award this time. Though their romance is far from perfect, with their herd lands being eliminated, and having had Pinball Wizard take Timeless; they still mange to find love, and strength in each other. When Time was stolen, Nuk went crazy, desperate for her company once again. Time wasn't too fond of Pinball Wizard after that either, until things began to settle down a bit, when Nuk and Time realised nothing could seperate them- not even their new found "friend" Pinball Wizard. Theirs is a truely touching, and inspiring story.

Fairytales, aka Fairy-love, is our outstanding admin. She has been with this site since the very begining, one of the few left who can say that. She has a crazy hectic life, yet still manages to find time to be active with her characters, and run the site. She is sweet, and kind, and totally dedicated. We really couldn't ask for any better admin. So thanks Fairy-love, for all your hard work, and making this site exactly what it is- we wouldn't be here without you!

Posting
All IC posts should be at least 5 lines long. (which can vary between 80 and 110 words).When posting, include thoughts, feelings, how your character looks, how it tends to act, whats going on in the world around it, etc. This will help you be able to post longer. If you need more help refer to the board Roleplaying Help. There are some thread there which can help you.
Creation of Characters
You must wait to be accepted. Do not post anywhere with your character until it is accepted. Your posts will be deleted, and you risk a warning. If you have had a character previously accepted you do not have to wait for your next character to be accepted. If you do not finish your application you will not be allowed to roleplay your character until it is done. Keep your character realistic. This means no odd coloring or markings. Also you can not create a Flaming Passions horse. When creating a character, you must follow the form provided, but you may add things to it. It is your responsibility to ensure the name you have chosen for your character has not been taken nor reserved. Click for the Taken Name List and Click here for the Reserved Name list Keep heights realistic. An Arabian is not 16 hh. A quarter horse is not 16.2 hh. Ponies are 14hh and lower. Very rarely do horses get past 17 or 18 hh. I don't want a million horses running around when they are all 20hh tall as this is not realistic. Claiming
Your stallion must be at least 3 years old to claim lands. Mares can not claim lands expect in the deserted realms. Each user is only allowed to have one stallion claim one land per alliance. For example you may have three stallions, one owns a light land, 1 a neutral, and 1 a dark land. You can not have two of your characters owning two lands under the same alliance. [instead your stallion could go join another stallion's herd] Please post a claiming post and then your herd stats. You do not need a staff member to approve of your claim. You must post in your lands at least once every week. If you don't a staff member will move all of your threads to 'Ancient Grounds' and your land will become open for anyone to claim.
Challenging
Stallions may challenge for land or mares or foals. Mares may challenge for positions within a herd, including lead mare. Mares may also challenge for foals. You must notify the member that owns the land/mare plus a staff member by PM If the owner does not post within 3 days for a mare and 7 days for land (unless he has posted in 'Going Away') then you win by default. >Please Click Here for more details about Challenging [for land]<
Fighting
Both mares and stallions may fight, they can fight each other, or one of the same gender. A stallion will not always win against a mare. A fight consists of 2 dodges and 4 hits. Only one move per post. You may either attack or dodge not both. Fights must take place in the fighting grounds not in a herd land. An admin will judge the fight based on equine stats, age, health, role playing ability and who did the most damage with REALISTIC attacks. Please PM a staff member or post in OOC to state that the fight has started. Please PM a staff member or post in OOC to state when the fight has ended. Fights will be judged out of 5 points

Stealing
A steal last 7 days. If a stallion is unable to guess the equine being stolen within 7 days, the mare or foal belongs to the stealer. You may steal stallions, mares, foals. (one at a time, and never the lead stallion) You may not steal lands. Slaves cannot be stolen, but they may be challenged for. Only 1 steals per week. You may not post a steal for a mare or foal if there has already been a steal for a mare/foal in that's same herd. Only one steal for every herd in a week. Lead mares may be stolen, but be prepared for whatever the stallion may do. Don't complain if your mare was stolen, or if you are the mare that was stolen. A steal is a rhyme or poem somehow hinting toward the mare being stolen and is to be done on the proper board. A steal include at least 5 hints. If you are stealing someone please clearly state how much time is left for your steal. Anyone may guess, and if they guess correctly then the person trying to steal loses the steal. Unlimited number of guesses After the 7 days are up please clearly state 1)whom you stole FROM, 2) who you STOLE, 3)the hints that were within your post, 4)Contact a staff member to approve of your steal After that Congrats You have Won whatever you Stole!
Breeding and Birthing
No graphic breeding whatsoever! It is against proboard rules You do not have to roleplay the breeding, just as long as both parents agree. You do not have to role play the birth, but can if you wish. The roleplayers that roleplay the parents must use the correct form in the right board and post the parents stats. Birthing may not be graphic Only a staff member can post foal stats You may request a gender, color, etc, but are not guaranteed that that is what you will get. Post in the correct board, not a herd land. You may breed and foal in any season. If the foal is born in spring it will usually live. In summer it will usually live. But in fall it is rare that a foal will survive. In winter foals almost never survive (special permission is needed from a staff member for a foal to live during this season). Once you have been bred you have 1-3 weeks to give birth to it. If you give birth to it too early the foal will be considered a mis-carriage, and too late it will be born still/dead. (unless I say otherwise) You must only post the stats of the parents, on the day you wish to birth the foal. When the foal is born you will need to post the father's stats the mother's stats and the exact day when the mating happened. After this is done a staff member will come and tell you what your child looks like, his health, and etc Here is how we determine your baby. >Click Here<
Stallion
There may stallions living on the same land at the same time, one lead and one beta and one delta. Also you can have as many herd stallions as you like. I would like to repeat, there can only be One lead stallion, one lead mare. One Beta stallion, one beta mare. One delta stallion and one delta mare. Any other mares/stallions claimed have to go under different ranks, for example, herd mare, herd stallion. Or shared mare, shared stallion. [more details for herd stats/and herd stats examples can be found on Billboards, or by >Clicking Here< Stallions may claim mares. Stallions may force claim mares (on the appropriate board). Stallions may have a herd with as many members in it as they can get. Stallions may claim lands. Stallions can only claim lands at age 3. Stallions can breed at the age of 2. Stallions are allowed to make rules for their herd land and the members of their herd land, this may include slaves or that every mare has to breed with him once every 2 years or etc. But his rules will not over power any rules that are here.
Mare
Mares can escape from a stallion or herd that they don't want to be in. Mares can be force-bred. Mares cannot claim land. Mares can foal when they are 3 years old. Mares may mate at age 2 but will not have a foal. If you abandon your foal, it can go to the Adoption Lands or it can attempt to live by itself. But there is a high risk that the foal will die. After you have been bred you must wait a min of a week to have the foal and a max of 3 weeks. If you have the foal before this time it will be considered a mis-carriage. And, of course, if you wait to long the foal will be born still (dead).
Foals
Foals are full grown at the age of 3 years old. When you have a foal you have the choice to either roleplay it or give it to someone else to roleplay. You may place it up in Characters for Adoption so someone else can roleplay it. Foals live with their parents until they are full grown. When a colt is full grown, it should move on and find its own land to live in. Fillies and colts are allowed to stay with their father's herd or move to another herd.
Royals
Royals may update the board information of any of the alliance boards at any time to anything they want by sending a pm to a staff member. This includes board titles, and descriptions. Royals may also chose to decide who rules a territory. They may replace current territory leaders at any given time. Royals may set any laws they desire that the entire alliance must obey. A Royal may only rule alone for 3 weeks time before picking a partner (mate) of opposite gender. In order to remove a partner from royalty status you must challenge them to a battle. Whoever wins keeps the title and the other one is removed from power. Both Queen and King can overthrow each other and have a new mate enter power. If the King wants a certain mare, or the Queen a certain stallion, they get it. As long as the mare’s or stallion's alliance is the same as their own. This includes taking a mare from a stallion and force-claiming a mare in any land. If the King wants to breed with another stallion's mare, the mare and the stallion do not have a choice. [This is limited to 3 mares per season. Also you cannot breed the same mare twice in a roleplay year.] The King and Queen may force-claim, and force-breed in any land. But for force breeding, they must provide a warning note for other readers. Only the King or Queen can declare a war/ battle between the opposite alliance. The King and Queen have the ability to ban horses from their alliance’s terrain for a certain amount of reasonable time. In a battle against a Royal the King or Queen should be given One bonus point just because they are royal. If an equine does not obey, or misbehaves, the horse can be banned, or forced as a slave. Please note, the king and queen cannot wound or kill a horse without the owner’s permission. If your character objects to the King’s or Queen's demands or orders he can challenge them. For example, if the king is going to breed with a stallion’s mare, the stallion can challenge the King to a battle and if the stallion wins, he gets to keep the mare. If the stallion loses, well, too bad so sad.
Nieleminen (deserted realms)
Land here can be calimed by male or female. To claim Nieleminen land you must have at least five total followers prior to the claiming post. Each of the followers must be roleplayed by a different person and will be required to reply to the claiming thread. The leader(s) of Nieleminen land may govern it however they so chose. (dictatorship, democracy, etc.) Nieleminen land may be challenged for, just like any other land. Everything in Between is an unclaimable land in which any horse not part of an alliance may reside and do as they so please.
Betrayal
When you first join your character has to pick a side. This is your character's loyalty. Now, if your character decides to join the opposite alliance she has committed betrayal and her title will change to the opposite alliance. But her loyalty Must Always stay on the side which she first picked. For example, a light mare moved in with a dark stallion. Her loyalty is still toward the lights, but she is now fighting with the darks. the mare is considered unloyal to the lights in other words she betrayed them.
